Fees

My fees are based on services provided and are listed below.

Intakes

For children 13 and under, I generally meet with the parents first for a one hour intake. It is important for me to understand as much as I can about your child and family before starting therapy with your child. I take a full history and listen carefully to your concerns and goals.

6o minute intake - $300.

ongoing Psychotherapy

Ongoing 50 minute therapy appointments are most often scheduled weekly. Though more frequent sessions or longer session times are sometimes indicated and can be arranged. If a session goes over you are charged a prorated fee based on $250.99 per session.

50 minute session - $250

home Based Session

As needed, home based therapy sessions can be arranged at my same rate plus travel time. If your home is more than 10 minutes from my office, I will charge a travel fee based on time.

School observation

A school visit to observe your child may be indicated. These visits help me to understand your child outside of the therapy office. If your child’s school is more than 10 minutes from my office, I will charge a travel fee based on time.

FEES FOR OTHER SERVICES

Assessments, Requested contacts with other professionals, Reports and Letters, Insurance Company contact, are all charged at $250.00 per hour.

cancellation policy

For therapy to be most effective it is important to attend your sessions regularly. I have reserved a specific time and space for you and it cannot be used by anyone else. Therefore, 48 hours notice is required for canceled appointments or you will be charged for the missed appointment. If I am able to reschedule you within the week, the cancellation fee may be waived. If your child becomes suddenly ill and you need to cancel I generally will not charge.

Forms of payment

Therapy fees are to be paid in full after each session. You may also pay for a block of sessions in advance. You may pay by cash, check or credit card. You may authorize me to charge your card after each session.

I do not accept any insurance, but I am happy to supply a superbill every six months, for insurance or HSA account. If you need more frequent Superbills please let me know.

It is your responsibility to communicate with your insurance to find out about the coverage you may have.
